Update June 15: Okay so the beyhive was a little off on their timing. My Inkling Kid costume is definitely part of my photoshoot backlog. I did mean to wear this costume again last year before the end of the summer, but I didn't attend as many events as I anticipated. Hopefully this year I'll actually do a shoot of this costume during the summer. She did an amazing job on the detailing! I'm really happy with how the tentacles matched with my wig. My tentacles for the wig were made by Sierra. His prop work is phenomenal! I made my mask, modified a pair of shorts and made the letter detailing on the front and back of the shirt. It really doesnt take much to put together a passable Inkling costume. He helped me make my headphones and he made his own Splattershot. Dress up like a boy or girl Inkling from the hit Nintendo game Splatoon with the the help of this handy DIY. It was a great costume choice for a hot con and the outfit was really recognizable.Īlso featured in this photo is my friend. The Nomi was a sauna last year! I really hope things are more bearable at AN 2017. It's a bit hard to make out some of the details, but this costume was super comfortable to wear for the Nominoichi at the con.
